Does Your Twitter Profile Link Confuse Me Or Help Me?

Where Does Your Twitter Link Take Me To?

The other day, I was speaking with someone on Twitter and wanted to know more about them. I decided to click on the link in their profile page to find out what they were all about.

Well, that was confusing!

I got some blog front page that didn’t tell me anything and totally confused me. I had to dig around to find out more information – not very helpful at all.

So, I ask you: Where is your Twitter profile link pointed?

Have you thought about building a Twitter landing page?

What is it and Why Should I Make One?

Ok, first, I don’t want to hear about links to the “idea that will make me rich” or “pictures of your $*#*$#*!” How do they make the camera do that?

Anyways…..

A Twitter Landing Page is simply a customized page you build on your site to welcome visitors that click your profile link on Twitter.

Now why would you build one?

Just like my situation from above, you need to make it as easy a possible for your Twitter viewers to find out more about you.

When I click on that profile link, I want to know more about you and how I can connect with you.  If you confuse me with a page that has no information or makes me work to find out more about you, you may have just lost a connection or even possible client.

By creating a Twitter Landing Page, you can quickly answer all the basic information about yourself, what you do and how others can connect with you.

My Twitter Landing Page

Recently, I put up my Twitter Landing Page on my blog. The page gives a brief description of whom I am, what I do and how to connect with me.

Remember, you never know who could be looking at your Twitter profile page. Make sure to give them an easy way to find out the information they are looking for.

If you have any questions on building your own page or need help with the questions of the universe, hit me up on my Twitter account.
